PORT ANGELES – We have breaking news from the Port Angeles Police Dept. about a body found in a van today.
Deputy Chief Jason Viada has these details.
“This morning at about 11:45 patrol officers responded to the area of 6th and Lincoln to do a welfare check on a man that hadn’t been seen for about 12 days. They located the man deceased in a van. At this point, we have not been able to find evidence of foul play. It appears to be a tragic accident, based on what we know now. However, we’re working to notify the victim’s family. He’s a 28 year-old from this area and we haven’t been able to reach the family just yet.”
Viada says toxicology and autopsy reports will be conducted as the investigation continues.
