AGNEW – A Saturday morning fire, has left a home between Port Angeles and Sequim uninhabitable.
Just before eight AM, Clallam Fire District Three was dispatched to a reported chimney fire in the 400 block of Dryke Road. On arrival, crews found smoke throughout the two story residence and the call was immediately upgraded full house fire.
Crews from three stations and volunteers worked to quicken confine the fire to the area around the chimney. Officials say the structure was significantly damaged by the fire and is uninhabitable at this time. No one was injured.
