MILL CREEK, Wash. (AP) — Human skeletal remains were discovered Saturday in unincorporated Snohomish County near the northern border of Mill Creek.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office says someone found the remains in a shallow grave in a wooded area. Their Major Crimes Unit responded to the location around 5 p.m. Saturday and continued to process the scene through Sunday.
Positive identification of the person, as well as cause and manner of death will be determined by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner.
