SEATTLE (AP) — Officials say COVID-19 cases continue to rise at University of Washington sorority and fraternity organizations in an outbreak reported last week.
University of Washington spokesperson Victor Balta said as of Monday morning, 163 people have tested positive for COVID-19. He says students in the Greek community who have tested positive or have symptoms are being told to isolate at their residences.
It’s the second time an outbreak has struck the university’s Greek system since June.
