SEQUIM – A second Sequim School District administrator has been placed on leave for an investigation.

High School principal Shawn Langston was placed on leave Friday afternoon. District officials did not elaborate on the nature of the complaint or who filed it.

Langston’s leave came a day after the district’s superintendent, Dr. Rob Clark, was also placed on leave for investigation of a complaint filed against him.

The Sequim district has brought in former Port Angeles School superintendent Jane Pryne to serve as the interim superintendent.

Sequim District Human Resources Director Victoria Balint said in a memo to staff, that the district will lean on the assistant principal and other district staff to administer Sequim High School in the interim.
