EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — Police officers in Pierce County have arrested a Spanaway man for investigation of murder after a woman was killed outside the Tulalip Casino Friday.
The arrest was made around 11 a.m. Monday in Lakewood following a standoff that lasted several hours.
Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called around 8 p.m. Friday after reports of an assault in the parking lot. They found a 35-year-old Lakewood woman unconscious and with life-threatening injuries. The woman was taken to an Everett hospital, where she died Sunday.
