PORT ANGELES – Heading into election day, about 71% of ballots are back in Clallam County.
According to elections officials, about 40,600 of the 57,500 ballots sent out had been returned by Saturday.
Jefferson County’s return rate is tops in the state at 77.5%.
Statewide the ballot return rate is at 68%.
You have until tomorrow to get your ballot in an official drop box. Elections officials are advising against using the mail at this point, to ensure your ballot arrives on time and is valid.
