OLYMPIA — Applications for round 3 of Washington State’s Small Business grants are now being accepted.

Struggling business owners hit hard by the governor’s latest round of restrictions began applying for the grants on Wednesday at the Department of Commerce web page titled startup.choosewashingtonstate.com.

Businesses with less than $5 million in annual revenue last year can apply to receive up to $20,000, but the money must be used to help remedy a hardship related to COVID-19.

Priority will be given to applications received by December 11. Applications received after that date will only be considered if the commerce department is able to fund all the applicants who applied earlier.

Visit the Washington State Department of Commerce for more information and to apply.
