SEATTLE – (KONP Staff) Seattle Police say a woman has been arrested for accidently shooting her husband last night after a man they were arguing with pepper sprayed the couple.
Officers responded to a 911 call on 3rd Avenue Southwest, and arrived to find a man with a gunshot wound to his hand. The man and his wife told officers they had been in an argument with a known man, who ended up pepper spraying the couple. They said the woman then took out a handgun and fired a “warning shot”, which struck her husband in the hand.
The couple said they then chased the man out of their home and the wife fired three additional rounds.
Officers recovered the firearm and arrested the woman for unlawful discharge of a firearm and assault.
