WASHINGTON (AP) — A third Democratic member of the House, Rep. Pramila Jayapal of Washington state, has tested positive for COVID-19 after being forced to go into lockdown during last week’s violent siege at the U.S. Capitol. All 3 blamed Republican members of Congress who refused to wear masks.

Rep. Brad Schneider of Illinois and Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman of New Jersey have also tested positive. Schneider says he is not feeling symptoms.

Some members of Congress huddled for hours at a secure location. Others were in the room for a shorter period.
