Registration opens for COVID-19 vaccination clinics

PORT ANGELES – Registration for vaccine clinics in Clallam County opens up again today.

The clinics will be held next week.

Both Port Angeles and Sequim sites will be taking online appointments beginning 9am on January 28. Register at: http://vaccine.clallam.net/register.

Those without internet access can call (360) 417-2430 for Port Angeles appointments or (360) 681-3447 for Sequim area appointments.

Port Angeles’ next vaccination events will be Saturday, February 6th and Sunday the 7th.  The event will be identical to previous events, held at the Port Angeles High School Auxiliary Gym as a walk-through operation.  Those eligible for vaccinations at the Port Angels site include: Anyone 65 and over, and any remaining healthcare workers and first responders who need vaccinations.

The Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe will be making appointments for the Carrie Blake Park vaccination events next Tuesday, February 2; Thursday the 4th, and Saturday the 6th. It will again be a drive-through event, only now with time slots. You are eligible if you are over 65 years of age or a spouse of someone over that age and in the car at the event, or are an essential worker connected with first responders and healthcare. Officials say these clinics are only for those needing a first dose. In Sequim, if you have already had your first shot, you should return on the date written on your card between 9am and 3pm.

West end clinics are re-organizing and will reopen soon.
