OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — State health officials say 115 more cases of fully vaccinated people testing positive for COVID-19 have been discovered.
That’s out of 1.7 million people who have been fully vaccinated in Washington.
The state Department of Health said today they’ve now recorded a total of 217 of such cases, in 24 of our state’s 39 counties.
Health officials say the “breakthrough” cases, as they’re called, are always expected with any vaccine. They said breakthrough cases represent about one tenth of one percent of the fully vaccinated population.
