PORT ANGELES – Port of Port Angeles Commissioners will interview three finalists Thursday to become the next executive director.
Geoff James, Caleb McMahon and Justin Poulsen were chosen as the finalists.
James is a native of Sacramento, California who has served as branch Chief for Current Operations to the International Military staff at NATO Headquarters in Brussels.
McMahon is from Arkansas with a legal background. He has worked in China and has been the Real Estate and Business Development Manager for the Port of Columbia County.
Poulsen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Transportation. He has experience with Puget Sound work boats and marine strategic planning. He is currently Vice President and Executive Director at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, overseeing the port of New York City.
One of the men will be picked to take over for Karen Goschen, who announced her resignation from the job earlier this year.
The three finalists will be interviewed in public on-line meetings Thursday beginning at 11 am.
