PORT ANGELES – Clallam County Commissioners are closing down in-person meetings.
This week, commissioners decided the COVID-19 risk is too high to continue to have in-person work sessions and regular meetings.
So, they’ll return to virtual meetings again. That means the public will have to participate via phone or through the county’s website and video streaming.
Commissioners say they’ll stay in the virtual formats until the COVID-19 case rate dips below 75 per 100-thousand population. Currently that rate is at 1209.
