COVINGTON, Wash. (KONP staff) The King County Sheriff’s Office deputies in Covington responded early Monday morning along SR-18 to investigate a multi-car pileup that witnesses said was the result of road rage. Now the two drivers believed responsible are being sought by law enforcement.
Witnesses said the incident was between the driver of a Honda and a Ford truck. The Honda was totaled and the driver ran away. The driver of the truck drove off after the crash that caused a Kenworth loaded with lumber to flip over and hit at least 4 other vehicles.
Injuries to other motorists were minor.
Fleeing from an injury accident is a class-B felony in Washington state.
