PORT ANGELES – Parts of the Olympic Peninsula are expected to get another blast of wintry weather today.
The National Weather Service says an\other round of ice and snow is expected to develop across parts of western Washington by later today into tonight.
The heaviest amounts of snow are expected to be in Western Whatcom County with 2-6 inches possible. But forecasters say areas along the Strait of Juan de Fuca could expect three inches of snow.
Heavy snow is expected in the mountains with more than two feet of snow there through today and tonight.
Forecasters warn of the possibility of freezing rain tomorrow morning as the precipitation begins to turn to all rain and a warm up begins.
