CARLSBORG, WA – War Veteran and small business owner Brian Pruiett, a Republican, has once again announced his challenge to Democrat Steve Tharinger’s 24th District spot in the Washington State House of Representatives.
Pruiett first ran for the position in 2020, and lost by about 7,000 votes, garnering 46% of the total votes cast.
Pruiett’s official statement, released this week, mentions restoring political balance to state politics as a top priority. Pruiett also says he would work to reverse or amend recent police reform bills and would advocate for a parent’s “natural God-given right to raise their own children in the way they choose.”
Pruiett says he will “push for fiscal responsibility and stewardship, beginning with the rollback of every one of the harmful taxes enacted by Tharinger and his Majority Democrats.”
