PORT ANGELES – Local law enforcement are looking for a man who has jumped bail on burglary, theft and firearms charges and allegedly went back to a crime spree.
26-year-old Nehemiah Sebastian Tejano is wanted for arrest for Residential Burglary, Theft of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm 2nd Degree and Theft 2nd Degree. These charges stem from his arrest in January. Tejano bailed out of jail on February 24th and failed to appear in Superior Court this morning (3/1/22).
Sheriff’s deputies believe then burglarized a residence in the 3400 block of W. Sequim Bay Road on Monday during the daytime hours while the residents were at work. They say Tejano forced his way in through a locked back door and in the process destroyed the door. The crime was caught on video surveillance. Because a firearm and loaded magazine were stolen, deputies say they consider Tejano armed and dangerous.
Tejano is described as having a dark mustache, brown hair, brown eyes, 5’7” tall and about 160 lbs. He was seen Tuesday morning on the Olympic Discovery Trail near White Feather Way, Sequim.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1.
