SEQUIM — Interim Sequim Public Works Director Sarah VanAusdle has been appointed to serve as the City of Sequim Public Works Director effective March 8.
VanAusdle has worked for the City of Sequim since February 2011 when she started in the Finance Department as an Accounting Assistant. In January 2012 she joined the Public Works Department as the Public Works Management Analyst. She was promoted to Assistant Director in May of 2021 and has served as Interim Director since November. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Don Ctibor was hired as City Engineer in December. Effective March 8, he will also serve as Deputy Director of Public Works. Ctibor brings over 13 years of engineering experience and 29 years of construction experience to the City of Sequim.
