BREMERTON — The Sequim Wolves girls fast pitch team won their 5th game in a row knocking the tin out of the Bremerton Knights 22-1. The “Dungeness Bombers” showed no mercy, shell shocking the Bremerton outfield with an impressive barrage . In the 2nd inning, second baseman Addie Smith sent a 230-foot shot over the left center field fence to give the Wolves a 5-0 lead. The Wolves ended the game with 29 hits. Shortstop Hannah Bates went 4 of 5 scoring 3 runs. Addie Smith went 4 of 4 with a homer, two doubles and five RBIs. Lily Fili went 4 of 5 scoring 3 runs and hitting in 4 RBIs. Pitcher Laney Vig pitched 4 innings giving up just 3 hits and one run.
The Port Angeles Roughriders are now 4-0 after a 12-5 win at North Mason.
In baseball action, the Sequim Wolves lost a heart breaker to North Mason 1-0.
In golf action, the Port Angeles Roughriders are now 4-0 after beating Bainbridge by 8 strokes 190-198. The Roughriders were led by Edun Bailey who shot a 46. Nate Anderson and Austin Worthington shot a 47. Phoenix Flores shot a 50. Reid Schmidt shot a 53 and Isaac Shamp shot a 63.
There’s track action today (Friday) at 3 pm, as Sequim and Port Angeles have a Tri meet at Bremerton.
Dayton Williams and Xander Maestas each scored a goal as Port Angeles evened up their boys soccer record to 3-3 with a 2-1 win over Olympic.
Port Angeles baseball and Sequim golf also were in action yesterday. Their coaches have not shared scores, results, and highlights with KONP.

The Price Event center will be the Court of Dreams for the 24-3 Peninsula Pirates and the 26-3 Clackamas Cougars tomorrow night at 7 pm as the Pirates and Cougars meet in the NWAC Women’s Final Four in a Semi Final match up.
