PORT ANGELES – Olympic Medical Center needs a new Board Commissioner to fill the vacancy left with passing of long-time Commissioner John Miles in February.
Qualified applicants must reside in Hospital District No. 3 which is roughly west of Lincoln Street in Port Angeles all the way out to the west end of Lake Crescent.
A news release this week says the most qualified applicant will be appointed to serve until the next general election in November 2023, but applicants only have until Monday, May 2 to get their applications in to Administration.
Minimum time requirements include two monthly board meetings, and any additional committee work as assigned.
