Can you help identify the thieves who robbed Healthy Families of Clallam County?

By Pepper Fisher

PORT ANGELES – Port Angeles Police investigators are hoping the public can help identify the thieves who broke into the Healthy Families of Clallam County storage warehouse and spent some 6 hours loading items into their trucks. The agency provides services, including housing, to people who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse and other crimes.

The burglary happened on Sunday night, April 10 and continued until around 5:00am Monday at the storage facility at 1210 E. Front Street. The thieves were masked, parked their vehicles down the alley from the warehouse, and rolled the stolen items on carts and hand trucks they found in the facility.

Here’s Executive Director Becca Korby.

“But they were still very brazen. There a number of vehicles that we were able to see. They were, oh my goodness, they got four or five big televisions, couple of bunk beds, brand-new mattresses, a box of very nice purses, all kinds of new clothing. They just had a party.”

The good news is, security cameras were able to get pretty good footage on the perpetrators and vehicles, though everyone was masked.

If you recognize any of the vehicles or people below, please call the Port Angeles Police Department non-emergency number at 360-452-4545, or Healthy Families at 360-452-3811.

In the meantime, there are other ways people can help.

“We definitely accept donations. Cash donations are great, because then we can replace what we need to. The best way to do it is to call our office and ask what the need is now. And also, let’s just all be really careful and watch out for each other.”
