PORT ANGELES – Port Angeles police arrested a man late Sunday night after he reportedly jumped up and stuck half his body through the drive-through window at Frugal’s restaurant on Front Street and grabbed a handful of dog biscuits that were near the cash register.
He then ran around to the entry door, where he was confronted by an employee. Police say that’s when 28-year-old Tristan Newman head-butted the employee.
The employee was able to wrestle Newman to the ground and control him until officers arrived around 10:15pm.
Newman was booked into the jail for First Degree Burglary and Assault Fourth Degree.
The case is being reviewed by the prosecutor.
