PORT ANGELES – A day of music, food and kids fun is coming back to the Port Angeles waterfront.
“Jammin’ in the Park” returns Saturday to Pebble Beach Park, near the Field Art and Events Hall.
Admission to “Jammin in the Park” is free. It is put on each year by the Nor’ Wester Rotary Club. Organizers Steve Zenovic says there will be food available for purchase
“We provide food down there, hamburgers and chips and water or similar drink, that you can buy. And then also a beer and wine garden. And the money we raised from the beer and wine garden and the food, really pays for the bands and pays for our costs of the event,” said Zenovic.
And several community businesses are sponsoring the event. Money from those sponsorships go to help the Rotary Club deliver scholarships to local graduating seniors as well as supporting several other Rotary projects to benefit the community.
The bands scheduled to play are:
Sound Advice (Motown, 1960’s and 1970’s) 11:00 am
Black Diamond Junction (Classic rock and pop) 12:30 pm
Bread and Gravy (Americana) 2:30 pm
Professor (Progressive blues) 4 pm
