PORT ANGELES – Applications are now being accepted by the City of Port Angeles to fill the City Council seat that will be left vacant as of January 1 when Councilor Mike French assumes his new duties as County Commissioner.
Applications for Position #2 can be completed online on the City’s website at cityofpa.us.
Printed application forms can also be made available by contacting the City Clerk’s Office at (360) 417-4634 or cityclerk@cityofpa.us for this option.
Applicants must be a registered voter and have been a resident of the city for at least one year.
Applications, along with a letter of interest and resume, must be received by the City Clerk by 4:00 p.m. on January 9.
The person appointed will take office immediately and serve until the 2023 General Election results are certified by the Clallam County Auditor.
