OLYMPIA, Wash. – The Washington state Department of Fish and Wildlife announced the next round of coastal razor clam digging will run from this Thursday, April 6 through Wednesday, April 12.
These will all be morning, daylight digs, and the daily limit of clams a person can take home has increased from 15 to 20. The new limit will apply through all dates through May 14.
Officials are urging the public to double-check the digging schedule before heading out to a beach, because not all beaches are open for every dig.
