Saturday is Earth Day, and all national parks and all state parks are offering free admission all day. You’ll still have to pay for amenities such as camping, though.
Also on Saturday, the North Olympic Peninsula chapter of the Puget Sound Anglers are hosting their 21st annual Kids Fishing Day at Carrie Blake Park in Sequim. Beginning at 8:00am, bring the kiddos to the Water Reclamation Pond. No fishing license is required, and kids can keep the first two fish they catch. They even provide the poles, bait and fish cleaning.
