PORT ANGELES – Maintenance and improvement projects on the Olympic Discovery Trail require the closure of two segments of the trail this week in Port Angeles.
On Monday, City crews closed the segment between 9/11 Memorial Park at Francis Street, down to the Red Lion Hotel at Lincoln Street. There will be no public access through this portion until the work is complete due to heavy machinery being used on the trail. Work is scheduled to be completed by Wednesday at 5p.m.
The other affected portion of trail is located between North Oak Street and Marine Drive, at Pebble Beach Park. That segment will be closed daily between the hours of 8am to 5pm starting this Wednesday, April 26 until Friday, April 28.
