CARLSBORG – The current assistant general manager for Clallam PUD will become its next board commissioner.
Yesterday, John Purvis was picked to fill a vacancy on the board left with the resignation of Rick Paschall in February.
The 60-year-old Purvis has worked for the PUD for 16 years and says he will resign his assistant general manager position to take the board seat.
He was one of three finalists interviewed last week for the position. Nathan Adkisson and Marc Sullivan were also being considered.
