
DIAMOND POINT – A Sequim woman was airlifted from the scene of a two-car and logging truck accident on Highway 101 near Diamond Point.
It happened about 11:30 yesterday morning. The State Patrol says 81-year-old Lois Frisch pulled from the shoulder of the highway in front of an oncoming log truck. The truck struck Frisch’s vehicle sending it into an oncoming car.
The driver and a passenger in the truck as well as the driver of the third car were not injured.
Frisch was air lifted from the scene to Harborview Medical Center in unknown condition.
The accident and investigation blocked Highway 101 for an hour and a half.
