Local Sports: Swimming Stars!

Sally Coles Roughriders swim team, even with a young team are again swimming like Dolphins! The Roughriders blew Bremerton out of the water yesterday 123-50.

First place finishers were Lizzy Shaw in the 200 Free style, Lynzee Reid in Diving, Amaya Nelson in the 100 Butter fly. Brooke St Luise  in the 500 Free style, Harper McGuire in the 100 Back stroke.

In the 200 Medley Relay it was Danika Asgeirsson, St Luise, Nelson and McGuire.

In the 200 Free style it was Faye Dachs, Reid, Shaw and McGuire. In the 400 Free style it was Shaw, St Luise, Nelson and Asgeirsson.

There is soccer action tonight Sequim will host an outstanding Bainbridge team and the Roughriders travel to Poulsbo to take on the 7th ranked North Kitsap Vikings. Both contest kick off at 6:45 pm.

In Volleyball action the Roughriders travel to North Kitsap and Sequim will host Bainbridge both matched start at 6:15 pm.

Once again Sally Cole has an outstanding group of student athletes on the State power Roughrider swim team.
