Deputies ask for help locating stolen items

PORT ANGELES – The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a couple of items that were stolen from a home near lake Sutherland last month.

On September 21st, the homeowners reported several items had been stolen from their garage, including a “JetSurf” motorized surfboard valued at $15,000 and a “Man Saver” hydraulic fence post driver valued at $1,100.

The victims in the burglary offered a reward to recover their stolen items and got a tip from a community member that the stolen surfboard was at a home in Port Angeles. They were also told that the suspect in the burglary was a man that went by the street name “Pepperoni.”

Deputies were familiar with the man they call Pepperoni. His real name is James Pedrioli, a 51-year-old Port Angeles resident.

Deputies served a search warrant at Pedrioli’s house in Port Angeles and found the cutoff switches to the stolen surfboard, but not the surfboard itself.

Pedrioli was arrested a few days later at a residence in Sequim and booked for Residential Burglary, Theft, and Trafficking in Stolen Property. Pedrioli was also a suspect in the Theft of a Motor Vehicle out of Jefferson County, and that stolen vehicle was found at the time of his arrest.

Pedrioli is known by law enforcement, having numerous Felony Burglary and Theft convictions over the last 20 years and, most recently, an outstanding Felony Warrant for failing to comply with Drug Court.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 360-417-2262 or file a tip on our website at: https://www.clallam.net/cnmaster[1]c/nwformeml.ph
