PORT ANGELES – Young voters and soon-to-be voters ages 16-29 are invited to meet with local legislators this coming Saturday at the Port Angeles library.
Our 24th Legislative District State Representatives Mike Chapman and Steve Tharinger will be in attendance, along with Adam Bernbaum of State Senator Kevin Van de Wege’s office, who will attend on the Senator’s behalf.
Each will provide a brief introduction to their work, including special projects of interest and recently sponsored bills. After introductions, the audience will divide into smaller groups based on topics of interest expressed by attendees.
Participants will have the opportunity to express concerns and share experiences directly with Representatives Chapman and Tharinger, and Legislative Assistant Bernbaum.
Snacks will be provided.
