UNDATED – The four local high school basketball teams went 3-1 last night.
Even though the Sequim boys were the only local team to have a loss, they by far had the most impressive performance. The Wolves (3-2) lost a heartbreaker to Bremerton 69-66. The game went back and forth the entire night. Jalen Davis led Bremerton with 23 points. Keenan Green led the Wolves with 17 points, Solomon Sheppard hit for 15 points and Mason Rapolje had 14 points. The Wolves host 2-1 North Kitsap Friday night at 7 pm.

The Roughriders boys are now 2-1 and had no problem at home blowing out 2-2 North Mason 92-57. The Roughriders will travel to Olympic on Thursday for a 7 pm tip off.

The Roughrider girls blew out a shorthanded North Mason Bulldog team in Belfair 69-21. The Roughriders led after the first quarter 26-2. The Bulldogs (2-2) were missing 3 starters. Lindsay Smith led the Roughriders with 20 points. Lexie Smith had 13 points and Teanna Clark hit for 10 points. The Roughriders will host 1-4 Olympic Thursday night at 7 pm.

The Sequim Wolves girls evened up their record to 1-1 with a blow out of Bremerton on the road 70-44.
Jolene Vaara led the Wolves with 23 points and freshman Gracie Chartraw hit for 16. The Wolves have a big game at home Friday against 4-1 North Kitsap with the tip off at 5:15 pm.

Sequim freshman Clare Turella on the Wolves VIP Halftime Show. Clare jumped a 5’2″ on the Sequim middle school track team and has a legitimate shot to win state in May. Turella is playing basketball for the Wolves as well

In high school bowling action, the Roughriders (7-3) lost to Bremerton 5-2. Abby Robinson had an average of 159 and Paige Pangaro had a game high of 146. The Roughriders host North Mason on Thursday.
The Sequim Wolves 3-7 lost to North Mason 6-1. The Wolves travel to Klahowya Thursday with a 2:45 pm start.
