Olympic Peninsula Humane Society is asking for your help to fight Parvo

The Olympic Peninsula Humane Society is asking for your help to help save several dogs who have entered the shelter via surrender or as strays, that have Parvovirus. While vaccination can help PREVENT Parvo, there have been no antiviral treatment options for dogs infected until the USDA approval of Canine Parvovirus Monoclonal Antibody, in May of this year.  The newly approved drug offered by Elanco costs approximately $1,300 to treat one 60 lb. dog. Because of a Petco Love grant, Olympic Peninsula Humane Society has been able to purchase a limited amount of this medication to help save dogs with this deadly virus. If you can help with a donation to help save even more dogs, please consider donating to this special purpose.  You can donate online by clicking HERE.
