OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK – Olympic National Park officials announced today that someone, trying to steal the arrowhead plaques that are adhered to some of the park’s most iconic entrance signs, has badly damaged those signs in the process.
They said it’s going to take some time to restore them and repair the damage, so trying to take a photo in front of those signs, as thousands of people do every year, is not going to look too good.
The park is investigating these incidents. They say if you have some helpful information to share, please contact the National Park Service Tip Line via phone, email, or online at: go.nps.gov/NPSTipLine.
