PORT ANGELES — School in Port Angeles will be closed for a fourth day Thursday.
The paraeducators will continue their strike, prompting the school district to close facilities. The paraeducators walked off the job Monday in a dispute centered on a 3.7 percent cost of living adjustment. The teachers union is honoring the picket lines.
The school district Tuesday won a court ruling ordering the paraeducators back to work. For now, the paras say they will stay off the job and on picket lines.
Both sides negotiated on Wednesday and plan to bargain again Thursday.
