Award winning youth pianist, chef’s dinner event coming to PA

PORT ANGELES — Tickets still remain for a concert with National award-winning youth pianist Leo Yang, along with the University of Washington Wind Ensemble and local musicians. Plus, VIP tickets feature a special gourmet “Dinner with the Chefs”. The event takes place this Saturday evening at Field Arts and Events Hall. It’s a benefit concert for the Olympic Medical Center Foundation.

Yang is one of the best youth pianists in the country. A 16-year-old high school student in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, he was the 1st place winner in the Elite International Duet Competition, which then featured him at a recital at Carnegie Hall in New York in February of 2022.

“Dinner With the Chefs,” which will feature VIP seating and a multi-course gourmet dinner and dessert specially crafted and presented by Toga Hertzog, of Toga’s Soup House Deli & Gourmet and Toga’s Fine dining, and Michael McQuay, the owner chef of Kokopelli’s and Hook & Line Pub in Port Angeles.
