
SEQUIM — The 129th-annual Irrigation Festival in Sequim, Washington, is in full swing, promising a grand finale weekend packed with events. The Grand Parade, with nearly 90 entries, kicks off at noon through downtown Sequim Saturday.
Adjacent to Carrie Blake Community Park, the Sequim Logging Show, now a nonprofit, starts Friday afternoon and ends with the Logger’s Ball and fireworks. The Logging Show continues on Saturday as well.
The Classic Car Show returns with cars and trucks on Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm at 250 Center Park Way.
Attendees can also enjoy a Historic Walking Tour and a golf tournament.
The festival concludes with the final performances of “The Addams Family” musical at Sequim High School Auditorium, marking the end of two weeks of entertainment.
The Irrigation Festival is the longest running continuous festival in Washington state.
