Pirate Head Coach Bryce Jacobson believes he might have found Ervin’s replacement in Alaska 4A 1st Team All-State selection Akeem Sulaiman from powerhouse East High of Anchorage. Sulaiman, a 6’3″ shooting guard, led East to two straight 4A State Championships. In Sulaiman’s three years at East, the Thunderbirds went 39-3 in league play and 79-8 overall.
