LA PUSH, Wash. – A motorcyclist was ejected from his bike after hitting a deer Sunday morning near La Push.
48-year-old Alexander Trapp of Seattle was eastbound on SR 110 near milepost 3 at around 8:00am when a deer entered the roadway in his path.
State Troopers report Trapp was thrown from his bike and both he and the deer came to rest on the fog line 75 feet from the point of impact. His motorcycle was found blocking traffic in the eastbound lane.
Trapp was airlifted to Harborview in Seattle; his condition was not reported.
SR 110 was blocked for 6 hours after the collision.
