WISEN CREEK, Wash. – A Port Angeles woman is in jail on a DUI charge after injuring two people in a collision on Highway 101 at Wisen Creek.
At about 10:30pm on Tuesday, a couple from La Push were stopped at the construction light at Wisen Creek when 66-year-old Zoe Lavoie failed to stop and plowed her vehicle into the rear of the other car.
Nicole Wheeler and Theodore Colfax were both transported to Forks Hospital with unspecified injuries. Their vehicle was totaled in the collision.
Lavoie, who was not injured, was jailed for DUI and held on a $10,000 bond. She was released on Thursday.
