Port Angeles – Port Angeles School District Superintendent Marty Brewer announced in November that he would be retiring at the end of this school year, and now the school board is asking for the public’s input as they begin the process of searching for his replacement.
The Board of Directors have hired Human Capital Enterprises to conduct the search, and the process includes inviting the public to participate in an anonymous survey to help identify the qualities and characteristics they would like to see in the next Superintendent.
District Communications Coordinator Casey McDonald says the public’s input will be instrumental in shaping the recruitment process and formulating interview questions, and tells us how you can be a part of it.
“So, if you go onto the school district’s website, which is www.portangelesschools.org, you’ll notice a tab at the top that says “superintendent search”. You click on that tab and it’s a one-stop-shop for everything that has to do with the process of hiring our next superintendent.”
The survey can be found here: https://www.portangelesschools.org/about/superintendent/superintendent-search.
Questions about the survey or the search process can be directed to Casey McDonald at cmcdonald@portangelesschools.org.
