Sequim – Investigators are looking for a hit-and-run driver who struck and seriously injured a Sequim boy Monday night.
Officers responded to a reported hit and run with injuries in the 600 block of W. Spruce St. at 9:00PM. 13-year-old Colton Dufour received immediate medical attention and was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. As reported by the family, he remains in stable condition and is undergoing cranial surgeries and other medical treatment.
The Sequim Police Department is actively investigating this incident to gather evidence and identify the vehicle and driver responsible. The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office and Washington State Patrol are providing assistance in the investigation.
