Port Angeles couple arrested while in possession of stolen items

Port Angeles – A Port Angeles couple were arrested Thursday, suspected of the April 8 burglary of a home.

The incident began on Tuesday morning when Clallam County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residential burglary that occurred in the 3000 block of South Mount Angeles Road in Port Angeles. A relative of the homeowner arrived at the house and saw a suspicious vehicle leaving the driveway. The witness saw a male and female in the suspect vehicle as it drove past them.

It was helpful to investigators that the front bumper of the suspect vehicle fell off in the driveway of the burglarized home while the suspects sped away.

Investigators found there had been a forced entry into the home and many valuable items were stolen, including musical equipment and a coin collection.

Neighborhood surveillance video was recovered that captured the suspect vehicle in the driveway of the victim’s home, and deputies knew that it was the car being used by 35-year-old David Pharr and his girlfriend, 35-year-old Adriana Johnson, both of Port Angeles.

Late Thursday night, that same vehicle was found abandoned in a parking lot east of Sequim. While Deputies were on scene, another vehicle with four occupants approached them. Two of the occupants were Pharr and Johnson. A quick check of a database  determined that Johnson had sold a musical instrument in Bremerton just a few hours earlier.

Deputies got authorization to search the vehicles and recovered musical equipment and valuable coins, all of which are believed to have been stolen from the home on Mount Angeles Road.

Pharr and Johnson were arrested for Residential Burglary and Theft. David J. Pharr and Adriana M. Johnson were arrested for Residential Burglary and Theft
2nd Degree. A search of Johnson’s belongings revealed she was also in possession of suspected crystal methamphetamine.

Pharr was booked into the Clallam County Jail for Felony Residential Burglary and Theft 2nd Degree. Johnson was booked into the Clallam County Jail for Residential Burglary,
Theft 2nd Degree, Trafficking Stolen Property 1st Degree, and Possession Controlled Substance- Meth; all of which are Felony crimes.
