This followed a $10,000 investment in Lincoln Park in 2023, which brought in new baskets and added three more holes.
RainShadow is currently ranked No. 5 among disc golf courses in Washington and regularly draws players from across the state and beyond. The OPDGA reports steady participation in events and growing attendance at its weekly tag rounds and tournaments.
The association is funded through local sponsorships, fundraiser tournaments, and regular league play. In 2024, it also hosted a benefit event for a local resident who lost a home in a fire.
Planned improvements for 2025 include new signage, updated tee pads, safety enhancements, and continued course maintenance. The upcoming “Ball Buster” tournament in May will test new blue tee pads at RainShadow, and a glow-in-the-dark tournament is also under consideration.
With a full schedule of events planned through October, the OPDGA continues to support the sport’s expansion while maintaining two of Clallam County’s primary disc golf facilities.
