SEQUIM — A 57-year-old Jefferson County man was arrested early Friday morning in connection with the April 9 robbery of Kitsap Bank in Sequim.
Dale Jaff was taken into custody around 6:00 a.m. on May 9 at his residence. Sequim Police, with support from the Peninsula Crisis Response Team, led the operation.
The arrest follows a month-long investigation that included surveillance review, witness interviews, and public tips. Search warrants executed at Jaff’s home uncovered evidence linked to the robbery, and officers conducted an on-scene interview.
Jaff is being held at the Clallam County Correctional Facility. He faces charges of Robbery in the First Degree, Assault in the Second Degree, and Theft in the Second Degree.
The Sequim Police Department credited Kitsap Bank staff, local businesses, and residents for their cooperation and assistance during the investigation.
