SEQUIM — In September 2024, the Sequim City Council declared certain items at Gerhardt Park to be surplus. These include a two-story wood frame house, a barn, and three outbuildings.
On Tuesday, City officials announced they will hold a sealed-bid public sale to dispose of the buildings and their contents.
Pre-sealed bid events will be held at Gerhardt Park, which is on Third Avenue, on successive weekends this month, beginning this Friday, May 23 from 1:00 to 4:00pm, then again on Saturday, May 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Friday, May 30 from 1:00 to 4:00pm, and Saturday, May 31 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Sealed bids for the items are due on Friday, June 6, by 3:00pm and can be submitted to the City Clerk.
