PORT ANGELES — Port Angeles High School fastpitch softball players were well represented in the Olympic League’s All-League selections, announced following a coaches’ meeting Wednesday night.
Senior Heidi Leitz was named the league’s Most Valuable Player after a standout season leading the Roughriders to a second place finish in the state.
Abby Kimball earned Offensive Player of the Year honors.
Kennedy Rognlien earned First Team recognition for her performance in the infield.
Pitcher Lynzee Reid was named to the Second Team, joining Lexie Smith and Morgan Politika for Second infield, and outfielders Mikkhia Stevens and Ava-Anne.
Adi Richard was honored with the league’s Sportsmanship Award, rounding out a strong showing for Port Angeles in postseason accolades.
