Port Angeles – An arrest has been made in the armed robbery of the Frugal’s restaurant in Port Angeles last December, and an arrest warrant has been issued for a second suspect.
On December 5, after closing time, Frugal’s staff reported they were robbed at gunpoint by two men who had their faces covered. The guns were pointed at the two employees, forcing them into the bathroom. The suspects demanded one of the employees vehicle keys and stole his vehicle to flee the scene.
PAPD Detectives collected several items of evidence and reviewed available video from Frugal’s and surrounding areas. They developed probable cause for two suspects, 36-year-old Anthony Lewis Reynolds, and 59-year-old Burton C.B. Brown, who goes by “Bill”, and arrest warrants were issued out of Clallam County Superior Court.
On Saturday, June 21, a PAPD patrol officer located and arrested Reynolds for the warrant. He is charged with 2 counts of robbery, 2 counts of kidnapping, burglary, theft of a motor vehicle and Theft. His bail is set at $200,000.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Bill Brown is asked to contact the Port Angeles Police Department.
He is described as approximately 6’1″, 220 pounds, brown hair and hazel eyes (see photo).
